IndivisibleWIN Guest Speaker
Deirdre M. Giblin, Human Rights Attorney
Immigration 101: Standing with our immigrant neighbors
Details: Monday, June 9, 6p - 7p
Winchester Public Library, large meeting room
Join us for a discussion with Deirdre M. Giblin, a seasoned Human Rights Attorney with over 30 years of experience in asylum and refugee
law. As immigration policies shift under the Trump 2.0 administration, Deirdre will break down what these changes mean for immigrants—and for all of us who care about justice and due process.
Topics will also include immigrants’ rights when approached by ICE, the role of local law enforcement, and witness rights. You will leave with some practical actions you can take to be a good ally.
This event is free, but space is limited. Sign up is required. If registration is full through Mobilize, email us at IndivisibleWin@gmail.com to be added to the waitlist.
Let’s learn, stand together, and take action.

Petition: Tell Gov Healey to resist pressure from GOP and automakers
Massachusetts and 10 other blue states have passed a consequential rule, the Advanced Clean Cars (ACC II), requiring automakers to provide increasing percentages of electric vehicles to Massachusetts consumers starting in 2026. Now the Trump administration, automakers and the fossil fuel lobby are pressuring governors, including Maura Healy, to delay implementation of the ACC II. Tell Gov Healy that Mass must protect our environment and proceed with implementation of this important clean vehicle rule.

Cards for Democracy; Saving Democracy One Card At A Time
This is NOT post carding...it's a different concept.
Card Campaign has rolled out two critical cards for distribution this week.
Let’s get these messages out there! Print and distribute the cards—leave them with tips at restaurants, place them in grocery stores, put them on community bulletin boards, and slip them into laundromats. Train stations and airports are also great places to leave cards. We have distribution guides tailored for introverts, extroverts, and everyone in between to inspire your creativity.

In case you missed it... Trump's pardons seem open to the highest bidder. Just this week, Trump pardoned Paul Walzack, a former nursing home executive who was found guilty of tax fraud, after his mother attended a $1 million-per person dinner with the president. Trump plans to pardon Todd and Julie Chrisley, Trump supporters who were convicted 3 years ago of defrauding banks of more than $30 million.
Trump also pardoned Scott Jenkins, a pro-Trump former Virginia sheriff. He was convicted in federal court last year of accepting $75,000 in bribes from eight businessmen in exchange for making them auxiliary deputy sheriffs.
We don't think that democracy and justice should be sold to the highest bidders, or given out as political favors. Join us in protest and resistance!
