March 3, 2018 - What A Night!
The 2018 Straydog No-Kill Shelter and Sanctuary Gala was an epic event. From pups at the door to Dale Hansen, the Maxx band and beautiful table centerpieces. There was laughter, winners and a lot of wonderful support for our rescues. A huge thank you to all those who came out and celebrated the evening with us, your support is never overlooked. To the volunteers that started early that morning to the ones that stayed late at night, we could not have done this without you. To Linda Arnold your dedication to our organization, its presence and awareness throughout Dallas is remarkable and flourishing before our eyes!

We did have several items that were not claimed on the evening of the event, join our Facebook page to see those posted over the next few weeks and you may be lucky enough to snag one!
An additional special thank you to these partners for their contributions to our evening.

It's not a goodbye it's a Happy Ever After!

Finding forever homes is the ultimate joy in our jobs. We couldn't be more thrilled that these fur-babies found new families and friends to share their lives with!
The time is NOW we must Build That Building ! But first, we need to Break That Ground . We're digging deep and on a mission to raise $400,000 by July 4th to move forward with a BANG! Even though our caregivers do an amazing job of setting up the shelter to battle the Texas weather, we will not let our rescues spend another hot Texas summer outside! Our goal, with you included , is to have our building built and rescues inside by April 1, 2019! Be a part of this HUGE campaign and help us not just Build That Building , but be a founding donor and Break That Ground !

Sponsorship Opportunities will be announced soon, but don't wait to donate!
*Founding donors, part of our initial $500,000 raised, will be recognized on a plaque upon entering the new building.

2018 is all about exposure and showing off our amazing pups so they can find forever homes and we can save more! We're open to suggestions, connections and contacts for restaurants, locations or events where we can meet the public, let us know if you have any input!

We'd love to be a part of your family...
This month is my 1 year anniversary of arrival to Straydog No-Kill Shelter & Sanctuary. I came with my buddy Mordy through clear the shelter! I had this terrible cherry eye which wasn't very appealing to future adoptors, but Dr. James fixed it (even though it took 4 times!). I'm potty trained, walk well on a leash and am very sweet. As a 3 year old, female boxer I'm looking for a family to be my forever home with a tall fence or someone to help working on my jumping. I'm easy to fall in love with and just want to be cuddled.
I'm Roscoe and if you have a cookie, I will be your best friend! I'm a 6 year old boxer-lab mix who loves treats! I've learned how to sit, roll-over and give high five! I was dumped at Straydog No-Kill Shelter & Sanctuary when I was only 2 months old. This has always been my home and while I'm surrounded by others pups, I'm quite jealous and would do best by myself in a home. Can I join yours?
Send the team an email and our good friend David will bring us for a visit!
Straydog Shelter and Sanctuary is currently home to 173 dogs full of love! Your generous donations support our mission in being a No-Kill shelter and sanctuary, providing an enjoyable and loving home for all ages and challenges faced by our dogs, all while seeking to find their forever home.
