Message from Principal Hamilton

Dear Everest Parents,

Last night’s Christmas Pageant was a beautiful event that reminded us of God’s infinite love and the hope that Christmas brings. Events like this give our students a joyful opportunity to share the Good News with confidence and joy.

Thank you to all who helped in preparing our students for their performance -our dedicated teachers and parents, and our music teacher, Mr. Landowski, and directors Miss Hernandez and Miss O’Donnell from BAM Theater. A special thank you to Mr. Thompson and Mr. Hacek for their heavy lifting in assisting Mr. Jan with setting up and taking down the stage. We wouldn’t be able to do the many things we do without the support and help of our parents!

Yesterday, you received your child’s Winter MAP Growth assessment report. I am happy to report that our students demonstrated above-average achievement and growth on the Winter MAP assessments in both Math and Reading. Overall, students performed above national averages while also showing strong academic growth from fall to winter - encouraging evidence that our new math and reading programs are serving our students well.

As part of our 30th Anniversary year celebration, we are excited to host Knights in Service Friendship Day next month on MLK Day for adults in the special needs community. Please feel free to share this invitation with family and friends. If you are interested in helping with the apostolic project, please contact Mrs. Wodka.

As we head into our winter break, I would like to wish all of you a happy and blessed Christmas. May the peace and joy of Christ fill your homes.

Rejoicing in gratitude for God's blessings,

Candy Hamilton

Prayer Intentions

→ For an increase in the virtue of orderliness: May our students learn to bring balance, discipline, and purpose to their daily lives. Inspire them to organize their time, responsibilities, and spaces with care, so their actions reflect intentionality and peace rather than chaos or distraction. Help them develop habits that foster focus, responsibility, and respect for others. Holy Spirit, guide them to embrace orderliness so they may grow in self mastery, inner calm, and a greater readiness to love and serve God and neighbor.
