Message from Principal Hamilton

Dear Everest Parents,

On September 8th, Everest Academy will celebrate its 30th Anniversary - a milestone made possible by the grace of God and the love and support of faithful families throughout the years. Please save this date and make plans to join us for a special Mass and celebration as we give thanks for all God has done for our school.

To mark this incredible occasion, we are launching a year-long initiative called “30 for 30” - a collection of 30 projects that will enhance our campus, strengthen our mission, and celebrate the legacy of Everest. Some of these projects are simple and symbolic, others are more ambitious, but each one is designed to celebrate and further make special the Everest experience. If you would like to help with any of these projects or have leads/contacts that can help us accomplish one or more, please contact us or complete this form. Our goal is to accomplish all 30 projects by the end of the 2025-2026 school year. Thank you in advance for your support and participation!

Updated Arrival & Dismissal Times

We are adjusting our arrival and dismissal times to enhance safety and improve the daily schedule for our students.

Arrival

Preschool: To ensure a safer environment for our youngest students as they exit cars, preschool drop-off will now take place at the playground entrance between 7:55 and 8:07 AM.

Kindergarten–8th Grade: Arrival remains the same, 7:45–7:57 AM.

Dismissal

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday

Preschool: 3:00 PM, pick up at the playground entrance.

Kindergarten–8th Grade: 3:15 PM, pick up at either the side or front entrances.

On Wednesdays, dismissal will remain at 2:00pm for Kindergarten -8th Grade. Full day preschool will dismiss from the playground entrance at 1:45pm.

The additional time in the school day will allow for a longer lunch recess and dedicated homeroom time at the end of the day.

Traffic Flow

The drive in front of the school will be one-way only, heading south. At the southern exit, cars may turn either left or right.

Thank you for your cooperation as we make these changes to improve safety and the school experience for all students. Further explanation will be provided at Parent Orientation.

Catholic Sports Camps – Basketball, Hockey, Baseball/Softball & Pickleball!

Looking for a fun and faith-filled summer sports camp? Check out the 2025 Catholic Sports Camps!

🌟 Basketball Camp: July 23–25 at Chesterton Academy in Lisle, 9:00 AM–3:00 PM.

Open to boys and girls entering grades 5–9. Cost: $200 per camper.

Mrs. Beth Wodka and Mr. Adam Wodka will be coaching at this camp!

🏒 Additional Catholic Sports Camps include hockey, baseball/softball, and pickleball — all led by experienced Catholic coaches who help young athletes grow in both skill and virtue.
