| In Case You Missed It: Lenten Annual Appeal Now Underway | On Ash Wednesday we officially launched our Lenten Annual Appeal, Orange You Committed? 🍊 | Thank you to the many families who have already participated. Because of your generosity, our orange trees are already beginning to grow. Seeing those first oranges appear is a beautiful reminder of what happens when our community comes together in faith and unity. | As we continue our Lenten journey, we invite every Everest family to prayerfully consider participating. Our goal is 100% family participation — not equal gifts, but equal heart. Every gift, no matter the size, is a meaningful sign of unity and support for our mission. | You can follow class participation progress by viewing the tracker — click here or use the gold button below to see how your grade is doing and help move your class forward. | As an added incentive, each homeroom that reaches 100% participation will receive a special Ice Cream Sundae Bar celebration. 🍨 | And don’t forget — every family who participates is entered into a raffle to win a vacation to Margaritaville Orlando. 🌴 | Thank you for your continued partnership, generosity, and commitment to Everest Academy. Together, we are growing something beautiful. | | Messsage from Principal Hamilton | | I'm proud to share three special achievements from this past week! | First, congratulations to our 8th graders who received the sacrament of Confirmation this past Saturday! This is the first time that our students were able to receive the sacrament together as a class, making it an especially meaningful celebration. Thank you to Fr Greg Podwysocki, pastor of Our Mother of Good Counsel, for making this possible. I am also deeply grateful to Mr. Purpura for guiding our students in their sacramental preparation. | Surrounded by family and sponsors, our students were confirmed by Bishop Witold Mroziewski. Strengthened by the gifts of the Holy Spirit, they were sent forth to live their faith with courage and joy. Please join me in continuing to pray that the Spirit will guide them as they grow as apostles of Christ. | Yesterday marked an important milestone for our school community with the induction of the first 10 members of our inaugural chapter of the National Junior Honor Society! The National Junior Honor Society recognizes students who strive not only for academic excellence, but also for lives marked by service, leadership, character, and citizenship. I would like to express my sincere thanks to Mr. Purpura, our NJHS advisor, and the members of the faculty council - Mrs. Wodka, Mrs. Kmetty, Mrs. Abramic, Mrs. Walsh, and Ms. Reznicek - who worked diligently to establish this chapter and thoughtfully review applications for this first class. | Another exciting “first” this week is the launch of our newly formed Everest Co-Ed Soccer team. Special thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Fontana for spearheading this initiative! The team will compete in the South West Catholic Soccer Association. | Lastly, a huge thank you to all of the students and families who have been working so hard to raise funds for tuition assistance by getting sponsors and pledges for tomorrow’s Fun Run! From decorating doors to sharing fundraising links, this has been a true community effort. We are so close to reaching our $30,000 goal - let’s do this and finish strong! | Rejoicing in gratitude for God's blessings, | | We were proud to induct the inaugural class of Everest Academy’s National Junior Honor Society this week. These students were recognized for their commitment to scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship. Congratulations to our new members as they continue to lead by example in our school community! | | 🚗 Parking Spot Auction – St. Patrick’s Day! 🍀 | Mark your calendar for Tuesday, March 17 at 8:15am and get ready to bid for one of our exclusive parking spots! | This fun St. Patrick’s Day tradition gives families the chance to secure a prime parking space while supporting our school community.
