| | Message from Principal Hamilton | Happy Feast of St. Francis Xavier Cabrini! She is a great saint who exemplifies our virtue of the month, Love for Neighbor, through her dedication to serving and educating the poor, especially immigrants. | At last week’s assembly, one of the middle school teams performed skits to help everyone understand this virtue and invited their classmates to live it out by completing some challenges. Ask your child how they are putting this virtue into practice at home. | We also recognized our Knights of Virtue—students from each class chosen by their teachers for showing Fortitude in their work and behavior. Congratulations and thank you to these students for showing courage to do the right thing in the face of fear or difficulties! | Tomorrow at our All-School Mass, we will honor our veterans. Thank you to all who submitted photos of their loved ones. At yesterday’s assembly, the 7th-grade class demonstrated a flag-folding ceremony, explaining to all students the symbolic meaning behind each fold. Showing respect and gratitude for those who have made sacrifices for others is an important part of forming Christian leaders. | Our Student Government held an election and yesterday announced the results of the students' voting for the names of our new mascot. Come out for our first home game on December 8th to meet Sir Michael the Knight and his faithful companion Sparky the Dragon. | Our Gala is this Saturday. Please continue to pray for the success of our Gala that it may be a vital fundraiser and joyful celebration of our community. | Rejoicing in gratitude for God's blessings, | | Our students had an inspiring week connecting with seminarians from the Legionaries of Christ in Cheshire, Connecticut, as well as local Franciscan Sisters of Christ the King and a Consecrated Woman of Regnum Christi for National Vocation Awareness Week! Thank you to the Legionary brothers, Sisters Marjorie and Jimene, and Catherine Macora for sharing your love of Jesus with our students! | | As the weather gets cooler, please remember to send your child to school each day with a coat, hat, and gloves. Our students go outside for recess whenever possible, and we want everyone to stay warm and comfortable while enjoying fresh air and playtime! | | 🍸 Step Into the Roaring Twenties! ✨ | |

Inspire them to reflect the compassion of Christ by choosing peace over resentment and understanding over anger. Holy Spirit, strengthen them to forgive as they have been forgiven, becoming signs of God’s healing love in the world. | → For the newly baptized, Flynn S and Max D: May God bless them abundantly as they begin their life in Christ, and may His grace guide and protect them always. | → For blessings on all our nation’s veterans, and for the protection of those who serve in our country’s military. | → For the faithful departed and especially for all those who have died in military service, that God will one day unite us again in the joys of our eternal home. | → For our benefactors and volunteers, especially those who have been preparing for our Annual Benefit Gala, may they receive an abundance of blessings for their kindness and generosity. May our Gala raise the funds needed for our school. | | Everest Academy is an independent PK-8th grade Catholic school committed to providing the highest quality education while cultivating the whole human person: intellectually, humanly, spiritually, and apostolically. Our mission is to form Christian leaders who are eager to exercise their leadership with a spirit of joy and service in order to impact culture and transform society. | | | | |
