| | Message from Principal Hamilton | Last week, our students celebrated the saints, striving to imitate their example of holiness. This week, during National Vocation Awareness Week, they are praying to discover God’s plan for their own holiness. Click here to view the prayer they are praying. | Thank you to our teachers and parents who helped with costumes and saint projects—I was so impressed by how well our students knew their chosen saints! A special thanks to our middle school students for organizing fun games and activities for our younger students to enjoy. | Today, our 4th–8th graders are making a pilgrimage to St. James Cemetery as part of the Octave of All Souls (Nov. 2–9), when special indulgences may be earned for the faithful departed. Through our prayers and acts of mercy, we hope to help many souls reach heaven. | Tomorrow, please join us for All School Mass as we pray for our departed loved ones and remember the deceased faculty, staff, and families who helped build Everest Academy. | Finally, I ask you to join me in praying for the success of our Gala—both as a fundraiser and as a beautiful celebration of our community: | Rejoicing in gratitude for God's blessings, | | All Saints Day is one of my favorite events of the year. Seeing our students dressed as saint and celebrating all day gives me great hope that one day I will be celebrating with them in heaven as true saints! Thank you to all who helped our students to shine as their saint! | | As the weather gets cooler, please remember to send your child to school each day with a coat, hat, and gloves. Our students go outside for recess whenever possible, and we want everyone to stay warm and comfortable while enjoying fresh air and playtime! | | Congratulations to Maya & Elizabeth for First Place in the category of Creative Math at the Montini High School Academic Bowl! | | 🍸 Step Into the Roaring Twenties! ✨ | The Everest Academy Gala will take place on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at the Crystal Grand in Lemont. This year’s theme is The Great Gatsby! The 1920s were full of flair—women wore flapper dresses or knee-length tubular daywear, while men donned knickerbockers with sweater vests or bold zoot suits. Get creative and have fun dressing the part for this glamorous evening. | | 🎟️ Purchase Your Gala Tickets & Sponsorships | | Registration Open: Boys 5th-7th Basketball | | All students must have a current sports physical in order to practice/play in the games! | | → A heartfelt thank you to the Flores and Arreola families for their generous donation of pan de muerto, a beautiful gesture that brought warmth and tradition to our Everest community. Special thanks as well to Mr. Rusch for helping with the delivery — we’re so grateful for your kindness and support! | | As Everest Academy celebrates 30 years, we invite you to be part of our future through the 30 for 30 Campaign. Each project represents a meaningful step forward — from enhancing our campus and enriching student experiences to strengthening the faith-based mission at the heart of our school. | Choose the project that inspires you most and make your gift today. Together, we can ensure Everest continues to thrive for the next 30 years and beyond. | |

Inspire them to act with kindness, compassion, and generosity — to listen with open hearts, to forgive readily, and to serve others without seeking reward. Teach them that true love means putting others before themselves and building unity through empathy and understanding. Holy Spirit, fill their hearts with the selfless love of Jesus, that they may be instruments of His peace in the world. | → For young people in our community, that they may respond generously with open hearts and willing spirits if the Lord calls them to the priesthood, diaconate, or consecrated life. | → For the faithful departed and especially for our loved ones, that God will one day unite us again in the joys of our eternal home. | → For the souls in purgatory, especially those that have no one to pray for them. | | Everest Academy is an independent PK-8th grade Catholic school committed to providing the highest quality education while cultivating the whole human person: intellectually, humanly, spiritually, and apostolically. Our mission is to form Christian leaders who are eager to exercise their leadership with a spirit of joy and service in order to impact culture and transform society. | | | | |
