Alumni Spotlight: Eliana Scoville (Class of '19)

We are so proud of Everest alumna Eliana Scoville (Everest Class of 2019) who is soaring to new heights—literally! Eliana is currently studying for her B.S. in Aviation Flight Science at Western Michigan University, where she is also minoring in Spanish. She serves as the Digital Communications Officer for WMU’s Spanish Club and volunteers her time with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Michigan.

Eliana is already a licensed private pilot with her instrument rating and is now working toward her commercial multi-engine license. Her dream is to one day serve as an international commercial pilot.

We are inspired by Eliana’s dedication, service, and pursuit of excellence, and we look forward to seeing where her journey takes her next!

Join us for an evening of fall fun at Everest Academy’s annual Harvest Fest on Friday, October 3rd, from 6:00–8:30 p.m. Bring the whole family to enjoy:

• Bonfire (bring your own chair!)
• Face painting
• DJ and music
• Two jumpys for the kids
• Delicious food for purchase from our food truck — burgers, hot dogs, and gelato

Please note: Food will be available for purchase only (no complimentary snacks provided).

🌟 Volunteers Needed!

We’re looking for:

• 2 adults to help supervise the bonfire
• 2 adults per bouncy house (4 total)

Broken Mary: The Kevin Matthews Story

Everest Academy is proud to share that former Semper Altius Award recipient Kevin Matthews is the subject of a powerful new documentary, Broken Mary: The Kevin Matthews Story.

The film tells Kevin’s remarkable journey from his rise as a nationally recognized Chicago radio personality in the 1980s and ’90s, through the challenges of illness and loss, to a profound moment of faith after discovering a broken statue of the Virgin Mary. Calling himself “Mary’s Roadie,” Kevin now shares a message of hope and inspiration that continues to touch countless lives.
