TKC!
Dear Parents in Christ,
The 2020-2021 school year had many challenges, but with God's grace we made it through! Congratulations to all of you and a special congratulations to our graduates! The students have grown in all areas of Integral Formation and have earned many awards. Thank you to all the teachers, staff, parents, and students for all their dedication, hard work and perseverance.
Our Field Day was filled with many fun activities from sports, to bicycles, to rocket launching, water balloons, slip and slides and many great treats. Thank you to Mrs. Windstrup, Mrs Olivares, Mr Gath, all the teachers, parents and all the alumni helpers for organizing/running such a great day. Thank you to the Munoz family for their food truck and the delicious lunch.
May you have a lot of family fun this summer. Expect to see a shortened version of the newsletter over the next couple of months, keeping you up to date on all the great things happening at Everest Academy. Please help us to spread the word. Mrs. Zabilka will be giving tours to prospective new families.
Thank you for a wonderful year! I hope to see you during the sports camps and at the golf outing on June 25th!

Dear Everest Families,
I can't believe summer is already here! Please know that you are all in my prayers as your children get some much needed rest.
If you are around and don't mind throwing an extra burger on the barbeque, I would love to visit your family...especially if you have a Slip-n-Slide ;)
I sent this picture from field day to my family and one of my brothers captioned it: "Priest baptizes self in new, half-immersion ceremony!" I'm just glad I made it to the other side and didn't need to be carted off the field. :)
Hope you have a fun and safe summer filled with the joy that comes from our Lord.
In Christ Jesus,
Fr. Michael Vanderbeek, Everest Academy Chaplain

GOLF OUTING 2021
Dear Everest Families,
As we look around and see spring bursting its way through, I can’t help but see the contrast between this year and the last. Though I know it has been a difficult time for all of us, I am overcome with gratitude for the blessing that is Everest Academy.
We are grateful for our dedicated teachers, staff, and administration, who continue to fight to provide our children with a quality educational experience and unmatched formation.
I want to offer a thank you to all our families who have been committed to keeping our community alive and vibrant. Our Room Ambassadors, lunch helpers, Gala and Golf Committee members, and newly formed Parents’ Association have answered the call.
I would like to give a special thanks to Charisa Guzior, Mike LePore, Don McCartney, and Brett Szabo, the 2021 Everest Academy golf committee. The committee is working hard to create the first “normal” event since the pandemic.
This year’s golf outing, in addition to supporting our treasured school, will also be thanking our First Responders. After golf, we will have a special ceremony to honor these selfless heroes at a lunch reception with a special blessing by Father Michael Vanderbeek.
Please join us! Support a First Responder, register to golf, or sponsor the 2021 Everest Academy Golf Outing at https://www.everestadvantage.ord/golf. There are a limited number of spots available so please don’t wait.
Yours in Christ,
Sebastian Abbinanti,
Parent and Everest Academy Trustee
