TKC!
Dear Parents in Christ,
This will always be a year to remember! Ending the year with all the Bicycles has been so much fun. Even the Preschools had their special day on trikes! Jan has been extra busy fixing bikes and Mr. Landowski has also been teaching students how to ride without training wheels. Students have been riding bikes to school, which reminds some of us of the “old days when we were young.” Thank you, Mr. Gath, Jan, and Teachers! Thank you, parents for your patience, driving extra cautiously as well as for dropping off and picking up bikes.

Dear Everest Families,
On Wednesday we celebrated the memorial of St. Philip Neri, a Roman priest from the 16th century whom the Italians affectionately call the 3rd apostle after Sts. Peter and Paul. St. Philip was known for his mirthful spirit which helped him keep an eternal perspective on the troubles and cares of ordinary life. The story goes that one day a man came to him bemoaning his problems and St. Philip quickly fell to his hands and knees and performed a headstand--an apparent attempt to show the man how ridiculous he sounded, stuck in the quagmire of negativity.
As this school year winds down and you begin to spend more quality time with your children, perhaps you can turn to St. Philip Neri to inspire you to preserve a hope-filled, joyful spirit in your home and while on vacation.
God bless you!
In Christ Jesus,
Fr. Michael Vanderbeek, Everest Academy Chaplain

GOLF OUTING 2021
Dear Everest Families,
As we look around and see spring bursting its way through, I can’t help but see the contrast between this year and the last. Though I know it has been a difficult time for all of us, I am overcome with gratitude for the blessing that is Everest Academy.
We are grateful for our dedicated teachers, staff, and administration, who continue to fight to provide our children with a quality educational experience and unmatched formation.
I want to offer a thank you to all our families who have been committed to keeping our community alive and vibrant. Our Room Ambassadors, lunch helpers, Gala and Golf Committee members, and newly formed Parents’ Association have answered the call.
I would like to give a special thanks to Charisa Guzior, Mike LePore, Don McCartney, and Brett Szabo, the 2021 Everest Academy golf committee. The committee is working hard to create the first “normal” event since the pandemic.
This year’s golf outing, in addition to supporting our treasured school, will also be thanking our First Responders. After golf, we will have a special ceremony to honor these selfless heroes at a lunch reception with a special blessing by Father Michael Vanderbeek.
Please join us! Support a First Responder, register to golf, or sponsor the 2021 Everest Academy Golf Outing at https://www.everestadvantage.ord/golf. There are a limited number of spots available so please don’t wait.
Yours in Christ,
Sebastian Abbinanti,
Parent and Everest Academy Trustee
