A Message from the Principal
Dear Everett Families,

As we all head into a nice, long holiday weekend, I want to thank you all for your wonderful partnership. Everyone at Everett is thankful for the support you have provided to ensure that the symptom survey is completed and that your child wears a mask and is on time and ready with all the necessary materials and snack each and every school day. In addition, by avoiding the need to drop off materials during school hours and limiting a temporary transportation change to when it is absolutely necessary has helped to ensure a safe and productive school day for all! Sincere thanks.

Please review this electronic Temporary Transportation Change form which must be completed on the day a change in transportation is required. This electronic form will replace the goldenrod paper copy. Please avoid changes in your child's transportation at dismissal unless absolutely necessary. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

Just a reminder that this Monday, October 12 is a holiday with no school. Then, on the following day, Tuesday, October 13, all students will have a fully remote, asynchronous instructional day. This is the first of monthly CII (Continuous Improvement Initiative) days, during which there will be no in-person or live synchronous instruction in order to allow teachers to engage in collaboration, professional learning, and data review. All instruction - including core classes, specials/encore classes, and small group/individual support - will be remote and asynchronous, meaning that students will complete the work independently. Students with the Hybrid model will not have in-person learning on CII days.

Parent-Teacher Conferences
Please use the link below to book a conference with your child's teacher(s) for Thursday, Oct. 22nd, or Friday, Oct. 23rd. Once you have reserved your 15-minute appointment, the teachers will be inviting you to MEET with them (from your child's device) for a virtual conference. The parent-teacher conference will happen on your child's device in the Google MEET app.

Wishing you all a safe and happy holiday weekend!

Stay well,

Angela Sopko, Ed. D.
