Custom Fit for Brenda
Here is Islander Sewing Systems' own Brenda Rogerson. Brenda is excited to have this custom fit Every Bodies Shirt in Lawn.

We began with a fitting muslin (see above). It took 3 renditions of the muslin to get all the alterations perfected. Not too bad considering she now has a beautifully fitting shirt pattern that will serve her well in making & fitting shirts, blouses and even jackets.

The shirt fits her body perfectly. But I think Brenda's favorite feature is the sleeve length. She tells us that ready-to-wear shirts and jackets almost never have long enough sleeves to fit her well.

Next, fabric, interfacing and buttons and you can find some beautiful choices on our website OR just grab a kit that includes everything you need except thread. All kits are discounted at near or above 20%!

Introducing our newest product and it's just what you asked for. A tape measure that allows you to take your own measurements easily and best of all - Accurately!

It's a "snap", literally a snap connects the end of the tape to the back of the slider so you can secure it first and then pull the slider along until it is snug but not tight. Unsnap and the slider stays right on the exact measurement for easy notation.
