CliftonStrengths is an online assessment tool used to discover and develop your greatest talents. Operated by Gallup, the well-known global analytics and advice firm, this 177-question assessment measures your natural patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving and categorizes them into the 34 CliftonStrengths themes.

Join our November workshop below:
Using Your CliftonStrengths in the Job Search and Interview | November 10 from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
In this workshop, you will build on your understanding of your CliftonStrengths and use that understanding to help target your job search. We will learn how to incorporate your strengths into your resume and talk about them effectively in interviews.

Civic and Community Engagement
Red and White Week Service Event on Thursday, October 28
Join us for our first-ever Red and White Week Service Event, brought to you by Student Leadership & Engagement and DASA! On October 28, from 12-3 p.m., students are invited to the Student Involvement Suite, Talley 4210, for hands-on service opportunities from partners across the Triangle. Join us for blanket making, donation sorting, and more. Connect with others interested in service and do good for your community. Students can register now.
Help Improve Access to Wake County Buses
GoTriangle is working with regional
partners to update the Wake Bus
Plan. This survey will help inform our
planning for better access to and
from transit by walking, biking, and
rolling.

Take the survey by November 8.
Parent Allies Application Due Friday, October 29
The Office of Parents and Families Services is now accepting applications for Parent Allies. The Parent Ally program provides opportunities for students to develop leadership skills while building strong connections with Pack families and the university community.

Parent Allies (PAs) are NC State students that have been selected to provide support and leadership to the NC State Office of Parents and Families Services. These students share their diverse perspectives and experiences with NC State parents and families by supporting university events that promote the campus community. PAs assist in the programming, communications and services provided to parents and families of current NC State students.

Black Health Lab: Research Studies On Black Students' Experiences Online
The Black Health Lab is currently seeking Black NCSU student participants for 2 studies:

Study 1 examines online experiences and consists of an initial online survey (https://tinyurl.com/BHLStudy) and a two-week daily survey via a smartphone app.

Study 2 examines experiences with online stimuli and health and consists of an online survey (http:/tinyurl.com/Tech2BHLab) and an in-person lab visit (Cox 515). For both studies, participants can choose between monetary compensation or SONA credits.

Red and White Ball on November 13
Come dance the night away at Red & White Ball! This is a formal event that will take place on November 13 in the Talley State Ballroom from 8 p.m. to 12 a.m. There will be refreshments, photo booths, giveaways, and more! Howl and Chill: Pumpkin Painting on Tuesday, October 26
Join the W.O.L.F. and Wellness and Recreation for their monthly Howl and Chill! For the month of October we will be Painting Pumpkins! Join us for a festive way to destress after midterms, Tuesday October 26 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m!
Howl-O-Ween on Friday, October 29
Join us for Howl-O-Ween out on Stafford Commons. We will be showing Hocus Pocus starting at 9 p.m. with snacks and giveaways available at 8:30 p.m! Want a free shirt? Stop by the D.H. Hill for a Scary Videorama located in the Visualization studio from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
