DECEMBER 2025

As I sit here, it’s hard to believe that Christmas is already upon us and that we are preparing to embark on a new year. This year has flown by, even through some very long days—a paradox that is not lost on me. In a year marked by both deep sorrow and the goodness of God’s mercy and kindness, I have been continually reminded to abide in Him—the Prince of Peace, Wonderful Counselor, Emmanuel—God with Us.

He has never left my side and has faithfully kept the promise He gave me in Ephesians just a few years ago during a season of discouragement and heartbreak:

“He is able to do exceedingly more than we ask or imagine according to

the power that works within us.”

Truly, He is always at work—in us, around us, and through us. During this Christmas season, I am especially reminded of His presence in every moment: every loss and joy, every success and failure, every tear and burst of laughter. He is with us in His enduring, kind, and tender way.

As we look forward to the new year, we do so with confidence in His continued guidance and presence. And I want to sincerely THANK YOU for being a vital part of the incredible story unfolding in Malindi, Kenya. We never take for granted the tremendous impact you have as our faithful prayer warriors, donors and friends- the difference you make every day is immeasurable. You are with us in our hearts, in our prayers, and on the ground every day as we work together to break the cycle of poverty and bring hope to those in need.

With heartfelt gratitude and prayers for a Blessed 2026,

Brenda Kaker

Director

Thank you for taking time to read through the stories of impact and listening to the voices from Malindi-It is truly our deepest pleasure to share them with you!

LIGHTHOUSE

2025 has brought renewed energy to our student sponsorship program with the launch of construction on the LIGHTHOUSE compound. This milestone reflects Every Life Inc.’s long-term vision of breaking generational poverty through education, mentorship, and sustainable leadership development. Already, we are seeing students grow in confidence and responsibility as they step into leadership roles within Lighthouse operations.

As our 24 students—ranging from primary school through post-high school—grow, graduate, establish careers, and build families, Lighthouse is intentionally designed for long-term sustainability. By reducing dependence on Western support and empowering graduates to mentor the next generation, this model creates lasting impact. With adaptable spaces for housing, community gatherings, and future income opportunities, Lighthouse is being built to endure. We invite you to partner with us in building this lasting legacy—ensuring students not only succeed, but lead the way forward.

THANK YOU for making their stories possible- We invite you to partner with us in building this lasting legacy—ensuring students not only succeed, but lead the way forward.

REMEMBERING PATRICK

The loss we experienced in March of this year was profound and heart-wrenching as we mourned the sudden passing of our dedicated student sponsorship coordinator, Patrick, who left this world far too soon at the age of 36. Patrick’s life reflected the impact of Every Life’s mission—growing from a struggling teen into a trusted leader who poured hope and opportunity into others. His infectious laughter, dedication, and compassion reminds us of the profound impact one individual can have on a community. Patrick’s legacy lives on through his wife, two young children, and the many lives changed because of your support. In his honor, we invite you to continue investing in students and families like Patrick once was, helping ensure that his legacy of hope and transformation lives on.

GOD'S PROVISION

Meet Caro, the wife of the late Patrick. In Kenya, losing a husband brings not only deep personal grief but also complex cultural challenges around family, land, and home.

A long-time friend of our student sponsorship program, Caro joined our team in August as the Lighthouse Administrator of Operations. She embraced the role with enthusiasm, honoring her late husband’s legacy while building a meaningful, stable life for herself and her children. Thanks to donor support, Caro is also finishing her sewing education and is pursuing additional training in computer —gaining independence and more confidence each day.

Lighthouse has helped create a place where Caro and her children are supported and encouraged. Each afternoon, Ariana and Bill join their mother to study and play with other children, turning a workplace into a home-like space of belonging.

Because of you, Caro is thriving—growing professionally, feeling empowered, and moving forward with hope. (and she is crushing it!) THANK YOU for making STORIES LIKE CARO'S possible.

SPIRITUAL DEVELOPMENT

The discipleship program continues to thrive and grow under the leadership of Francis Katana. Weekly discipleship groups provide materials, training, and books to 550 believers, equipping them to grow in faith and leadership. Throughout the year, rural conferences reached 500 participants, including women, church leaders, and pastors, offering encouragement, teaching, and spiritual support. In addition, Francis meets monthly with a pastors’ group for prayer, study, and discussion of local ministry challenges. Through these efforts, church communities are growing, transforming, and bearing fruit for the Kingdom.

This year, one new church was planted as members grew out of a discipleship group—an encouraging testament to the fruit of consistent investment in spiritual growth.

Bibles remain one of the greatest needs within this initiative. Believers—both new and seasoned, including pastors—are eager to grow through personal reading and application of God’s Word. Yet many pastors and leaders still do not have their own Bible.

Your support toward this vital resource is essential. A commitment of $15 per month provides one Bible each month, equipping believers and leaders alike and strengthening this thriving and necessary discipleship movement.

REACHING VULNERABLE FAMILIES

Through your generosity, MONTHLY FOOD BUNDLES remain one of our most urgent and meaningful ways to respond to the everyday hardships of elderly, single parents, widows, orphans and families in crisis.

THANK YOU for FEEDING so many living in crisis and vulnerability. Each month 30 families receive family food bundles. With 2 larger scale community distributions in-between feeding up to 500 each.

POULTRY INITIATIVES

CREATING SUSTAINABILITY

Through your generous support, we are also investing in long-term, sustainable solutions that bring hope and dignity to families facing food insecurity.

We now operate two family initiatives and two community initiatives that create reliable access to food and opportunities for self-sufficiency. Each family project supports up to 200 chickens per month, while each community project supports up to 400 chickens per month, multiplying the reach of every dollar given.

One community initiative is led by—and helps financially sustain—a primary school with 160 students, while the other is operated by a local organization dedicated to supporting community widows and orphans. Together, these projects not only provide food today but also strengthen families, empower communities, and build resilience for the future and provide jobs for people who manage the initiative.

These community initiatives also create dignified work for 4 women and men struggling to find employment, equipping them to steward the day-to-day responsibilities of each project.

LOOKING AHEAD, we anticipate the launch of two additional projects in 2026. Each project is carefully evaluated for long-term sustainability, including location, local demand, and market access, to ensure the greatest chance of success.

To reduce risk and strengthen outcomes, participants receive hands-on training in poultry rearing and record keeping in Kenya. We have also helped develop custom training tools, including a translated booklet and practical record-keeping resources, equipping participants with the knowledge and skills needed to manage their projects confidently and sustainably.

THANK YOU for bringing HOPE and PROVISION to so many families facing food insecurity.

ENRICHING EDUCATION

Thanks to the generosity of Impact Partner donors, we are able to subsidize three pre-primary schools, supporting 350 students and 8 teachers by offering reduced school fees to families in need. It warms our hearts to see the sweet faces of the children, hear their songs and poems, and enjoy their laughter as they play and learn.

You can make a lasting difference through Nursery School Sponsorship at $1,800 per year, providing children with education, encouragement, and the joyful learning environment they deserve.
