Tomorrow's vote on Measure M and the City Council is one of the most important Menlo Park has faced in years. To protect Menlo Park's Quality of Life, we urge you to Vote YES on M and for City Council Candidates Drew Combs, Kristin Duriseti, and Kelly Fergusson.
Yes on M
- Menlo Park's Quality of Life Threatened by Massive Office Development
Big developers are planning to build massive office buildings - the equivalent of over eight football fields - in Downtown Menlo Park. - Rush Hour Traffic Will Become Much Worse
Thousands of new commuters who work in these office buildings will clog Menlo Park's already overburdened roads at rush-hour, pushing cut-through traffic onto residential streets. Every Menlo Park neighborhood will be affected. - Yes on M Cuts Office Development in Half
Yes on M limits massive office complexes, like the ones currently proposed by Stanford and Greenheart, to half their size.
- Yes on M Provides REAL open space
Yes on M closes the loophole that allows developers to count private balconies, terraces, and rooftops as "open space".
- Yes on M Puts teeth into the City's Downtown development rules
Voters have a say if the City Council wants to change the definition of open space or exceed the office or overall non-residential development limits. City Council controls everything else.
For more local shops and restaurants, more senior housing, more public open space, safer streets for pedestrians and cyclists, and more money for the City's budget, please vote YES on M.
Don't Be Fooled by Developers and Their Big Money Deception Campaign
- Greenheart Land Company is spending over $200,000 to defeat Measure M
- Council incumbents Kirsten Keith, Rich Cline, and Peter Ohtaki have accepted campaign contributions from Greenheart
- Keith, Cline and Ohtaki more than doubled Downtown Development without ANY required public benefit - a $743 million giveaway
- Greenheart and Stanford stand to make huge profits from their proposed developments
- Over $20,000 of Keith, Cline, and Ohtaki's campaign contributionscome from developer and/or real estate interests - nearly half their total donations.
