Lewis Word Template
We highly recommend using only these templates for any internal- or external-facing documents. The templates come in full-color, black & white, letter-, ledger- and legal-sized documents.

Each sentence and paragraph formatting within the template is well thought out. Please do not reformat them.

The word templates also include Letterhead formatting for digital and print, and mailing labels for print. You can access all these templates in LewisLink.

Three Key Features in Lewis Word Template:
1. Paragraph Styles

The word templates are designed to fit the brand standards and remain consistent across the board. To help with this, we have set up paragraph styles that can be applied to any copy-pasted text by just a click of the mouse. You can access these styles in the Styles panel of the Toolbar. Each paragraph style is labeled for easy use.
2. Preset Color Palette

Lewis has its own color palette containing a mix of primary and secondary colors. We highly recommend using only the preset colors in this palette. The use of Green and Orange are restricted to only graphs, charts or tables.
3. Header & Footer

The header and footer styles are preset and need not be altered in their formatting. However, they can be edited based on context. Ensure to change the header for the second and consecutive pages similar to the first. The footer, on the other hand, can be removed altogether if unnecessary.

Lewis
Personality
The Lewis brand personality is a set of characteristics that reflect our company and make us recognizable. The way we communicate--written or verbally--tells our audiences about our values, culture and personality. When writing or communicating (both internally and externally) try to reflect Lewis personality traits:

  • Empowering | As an employee-owned company, we empower our people to make decisions at the level closest to the work.
  • Passionate | Our employees take pride in their work. We “geek out” on innovation and improvements and always build things the right way.
  • Direct | We clearly communicate with all project stake holders, and as employee owners, will tell our clients the hard truths in a tactful manner. We opt for the short word over the long; the concrete to the abstract.
  • Authentic | Lewis is a true builder made up of talented construction professionals that have real, on-the-job expertise. Everyone is willing to roll up their sleeves and do what it takes to deliver a quality project.
  • Savvy | We find win-win solutions that have the end-user in mind.

To learn more about these traits and how to use them, please review the Brand Personality section of the brand guide.
