SecureVotePA works to keep voters educated on Pennsylvania’s election process and inform them about the many built-in safeguards that protect the integrity of the system and ensure accuracy in the results.

Here’s a look at some of our work …

VIDEO: Serious, Committed, Active Citizens

David Thornburgh knows what it’s like to work the polls on Election Day. The son of former Republican Pennsylvania governor and U.S. Attorney General Dick Thornburgh, David put in long hours for many years as a GOP poll worker at his Germantown precinct in Philadelphia, even serving as minority inspector. It takes tens of thousands of everyday Pennsylvanians – people from both parties – to make sure our elections run smoothly – and they take their responsibility seriously. Read about David’s personal experience HERE and listen to him in his own words talk about the “serious, committed, active citizens” who protect your vote.

Trusted Neighbors Administer Our Elections

Cody Bright has worked on multiple campaigns over the years for Republican candidates running for everything from township supervisor to U.S. Senate. He is intimately familiar with the built-in security features, redundancies and transparencies that safeguard our election process and protect your vote. But as he told the Delaware Valley Journal, one thing stands out most: “For me personally, the most important component of our elections are the individuals who staff them.”

The Tribune-Review @TribLIVE

Jeff Coleman: “In Pennsylvania, we trust the results of elections — from school board to governor — because our system is guarded by neighbors. We know the people behind the desk checking off our names and asking if our children want an ‘I voted’ sticker.”

As someone who has gone through multiple recounts, both statewide and local, I cannot thank enough the men and women --- friends, neighbors, co-workers --- who work long hours at the polls to safeguard our elections and protect our vote. Check out the piece I wrote for the Delaware Valley Journal about the work they do, the training they go through and why we should thank them on Election Day.
