An essential provider to the participant experience and advancement of the game, referees deserve respect and a supportive, abuse-free, environment. We ask that you consider your approach to referees, with this in mind. You can make the difference in the future of the game by always treating referees well, thanking them for their contributions every game, and discouraging abusive behaviour toward referees where you witness them.
Within the province, Saskatchewan's top referees had a busy quarter covering over 800 appointments as the program ensured that there were quality officials for the Prairie Soccer League, and its Finals, Outdoor Youth Sask Cup, Youth Rural Sask Cups, Skills Centres, Tony Cote Games and FSIN Adult Championships.

A Survey for Positive Body Image Development in Late Adolescent and Young Women Athletes | |
University of British Columbia, (UBC), is interested in learning about girl and women (aged 16-24) competitive athletes’ experiences of positive body and image development.
This research aims to understand late adolescent girls and young women athletes' experiences of positive body image (feelings of love and respect for the body) development.
The findings from this research will contribute to our understanding of positive body image development literature by including the experiences and voices of girls and women athletes. This research can contribute to the literature that equips clinicians to promote health and well-being or treat body image disturbances and provide insights on body image interventions for athletes.
If you would like more information about this study please contact Taylor Unger by email at tunger@student.ubc.ca. Thank you!
