The SSA Annual General Meeting was held Saturday March 22nd at the beautiful Dakota Dunes Resort in Whitecap, Saskatchewan.

During the meeting three new Directors were elected to fill the seats of outgoing directors Monica Deters, Kyle Moore and Milton Ramirez as they did not seek re-election.

Andrew Kitchen was re-elected as Vice-President. Dave Mysko and Janelle Layton were once again elected to the board following the completion of their previous term.

Congratulations to the three new Directors Brandon Forbister, Moses Anjorin, and Olivia Mensah for being elected. Each new Director brings a unique skillset that will be an asset to the SSA.

We would like to thank Monica, Kyle and Milton for all they have contributed to the SSA over their time on the board and hope to see them around the pitch!

Congratulations to the Men's and Women's Teams that will be representing Saskatchewan at the Canada Soccer Futsal Canadian Championship in Regina from April 10th-13th at the Brandt Centre and Brunswick Steel Arena.

The teams representing Saskatchewan are Saskatoon Impact FC in the Women's Division and Yorkton United FC in the Men's division. Both teams look to build on the success of Saskatchewan from 2024 where the Women took home Gold and the Men Finished 5th.

SSA Member Organization FC Regina has been awarded the honour of hosting this event, a first for Futsal in Saskatchewan.

The Saskatchewan Soccer Assocition is proud to announce the first ever Sask Cup Power Chair Event Sunday April 6th, at Mark Tennant Field in Saskatoon.

The match will feature the Regina Rangers against the Saskatoon Rolling Thunder!

2024 SSA Recognition Awards

SSA’s 2024 Recognition Award winners, chosen by the Saskatchewan Soccer Association Technical Committee and the Board of Directors, were announced on Saturday March 22nd,2025.

The Awards Banquet took place at the beautiful Dakota Dunes Resort and was emceed by two of our very own Female Excel players Folawe Balogun and Navy Louma.    

2025 SSA Membership Renewal

All Member Organizations are required to renew each year to be eligible for SSA Member Benefits. Members who renew on time are rewarded through Member Assistance Program Funding (MAP) and are eligible to vote at the SSA AGM. The deadline for renewal is March 15.    

Regular Members are those approved Member Organizations that register players in SSA and operate soccer or futsal programs. If you are an associate member please contact a.oliver@sasksoccer.com for Associate Member Form.

2025 Member Assistance Program (MAP) Grant

SSA is pleased to distribute over $255,800 in funding from Saskatchewan Lotteries Trust Fund for Sport, Culture and Recreation's Membership Assistance Program to Member Organizations (MO) to allocate funds directly to members, to support MO to align their efforts with SSA, increase the number of participants, expand sport and organizational development opportunities, strengthen local capacity to grow the game, and assist with promotion of soccer in Saskatchewan.   

Reminder: Do not submit your MAP grant application until you have received the communication indicating the minimum amount of funding. You can begin completing the application as a draft but do not submit it until the letter is received. If you have already submitted your application, please go in and edit your application after receiving your minimum amount letter.
