Greetings!
The third weekend in July we celebrate all things lavender here in Sequim! As you step out of your car you can smell the soothing scent of this flowering purple herb that has been used to calm and delight for centuries.
The Lavender Weekend Street Fair, once again set in Carrie Blake Community Park, will host 150 booths featuring Northwest crafts and eclectic food. Sequim Lavender Growers Association members will offer original and hand-created gifts and personal care items produced from their Sequim lavender harvest at their vendor booths. Lavender plants will be available at the Street Fair and the farms. Admission to the Street Fair is free, and free parking is offered as well. The Food Court will include a diverse selection to tempt our visiting foodies. Don’t miss the BBQ, fish & chips, six flavors of lavender ice cream, Mexican, Greek and Thai food, coffee, donuts, kettle corn, funnel cakes and more.
You will find more information on lavender and a listing of farms, as well as other local events and travel to our area on the City of Sequim’s Tourism website at Visit Sunny Sequim. View our Lavender Weekend Event Map as well.
