CONGREGATONAL MEETING JUNE 8th …

Justin Sturgeon will jump the last hurdle June 8th as the church votes to affirm him as the next senior pastor of First Christion in The Dalles, Oregon. The search for a senior pastor has been going on for quite some time. There have been highs and lows, curves and hills, long nights and short days, and God has guided FCC every step of the way. Keep praying as the finish line is in sight; and remember, our faith is in Jesus and what He wants for His church so continue to pursue Him in prayer for His direction.

If you are unsure of your status as a member of FCC, call the church office for information.

We are all in this together.

Jesus commissioned us to “BE” His church in Mathew 28:19,20. We want to fulfill His

command to do so.

Remember our mission…

“Growing Disciples of Jesus with purpose…on Purpose.”

These are exciting times!!!

Thank You Jesus!

Mike W.

WHAT WE BELIEVE...First Christian Church The Dalles is not affiliated with a denomination, instead choosing to be overseen by a team of elders. We consider the Bible to be the words of God, thus being incapable of error. As we seek a unified practice of our faith, we follow the teachings of the New Testament. We share communion each Sunday and follow the Biblical pattern for conversion. We support any who have accepted Jesus as Savior and Lord through belief, public confession of faith, baptism by immersion and continual obedience to Biblical standards of living. We hold firmly to essential doctrines but celebrate freedom in non-essentials as we seek to love God, love people, and make disciples who follow Jesus.
