Weekly Update
April 30, 2021
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice!
Philippians 4:4
A few days ago, another brother and I got to spend the weekend with our former Pastor, Dan and his wife Carole Trautman. Among the highlights of our time together was attending worship service in their new church facility.
Walking into their new, open and welcoming foyer, I found myself imagining what might be, even here at our present facility.
In the coming months some of those ideas and improvements are being planned here, and could be implemented in and around our facility. The future of our experience together at 9th and Court Street is looking brighter and brighter!
Be watching, be curious, but most of all, BE THANKFUL.
Our unchanging God is in charge!

In Jesus' name - Be Blessed!
Jack

PRAYER REQUESTS:

  • Prayers request for Lori Wallace, Morrie & Sandy Snow's daughter. She is having foot surgery on Friday April 30th to repair previous surgeries.
  • Jug Richardson - Please pray for seizures to be healed and my back and legs to heal so I may get stronger and keep walking.
  • Mandie Tobie - I have severe Crohn's disease. Please pray for complete healing. Also chronic pain.

  • Conley's - Please pray for our son Ty's future employment. What job should he take? Pray that it is God's will for him.
  • Pray for our nation and our people. Spread love and joy.
  • Pray for the social unrest in our state and in our nation.
  • Pray for our national, state and church leaders as we continue to adjust to Covid-19 restrictions.
  • Pray for those in our body who have been affected by the virus, either in their health or financially.
  • Pray for folks who reside in care facilities and have been on lockdown for so many months.
  • Pray for God's protection on everyone with underlying illnesses that make them more vulnerable.
