Forward For the Lord...

The Easter season is in our sight. Last weekend Coach Lynn introduced a 5-part series entitled “Is It Reasonable To Believe…”. Sermon-based small groups will discuss the previous Sunday’s sermon with provided questions for the next five weeks diving deeper into the message presented. All messages point towards Easter and the significance of Jesus dying on the cross, being buried, and raised from the dead Easter morning. This is an excellent time to think of family and friends to invite (using provided “Look and See cards) to any or all happenings.

April 5th will be an all-church cleanup activity from 9am until noon; come join in and enjoy the fellowship as we work together.

April 12th is our community outreach Easter Egg Hunt; New This Year, - 9am start for children with a disability….. 10 am Staggered start for ages Pre-K through 5th grade.

Part of FCC’s vision is to provide “A welcoming, loving environment where Jesus’ presence is obvious in every service, class, small group and CHURCH ACTIVITY, and where authentic relationships are formed.”

Keep praying for your part reaching out during this Easter season’s happenings as we move

‘Forward For The Lord”

Shalom,

Mike W.

WHAT WE BELIEVE...First Christian Church The Dalles is not affiliated with a denomination, instead choosing to be overseen by a team of elders. We consider the Bible to be the words of God, thus being incapable of error. As we seek a unified practice of our faith, we follow the teachings of the New Testament. We share communion each Sunday and follow the Biblical pattern for conversion. We support any who have accepted Jesus as Savior and Lord through belief, public confession of faith, baptism by immersion and continual obedience to Biblical standards of living. We hold firmly to essential doctrines but celebrate freedom in non-essentials as we seek to love God, love people, and make disciples who follow Jesus.
