…pray without ceasing…

1 Thessalonians 5:15-18

Greetings Church Family!
January 6, 2021 is a day that will live in our minds forever. Each of us will have different thoughts and opinions about what happened in Washington D.C., but all will remember it as a day that visibly acted out being a divided country.

What do you do when events like this happen? Karen and I sat and watched things unfold on TV. We discussed and tried to make sense out of what we saw. We talked about our different thoughts and sat there, shell-shocked. Finally, we reached the point where we agreed the best thing we could do is pray for our country; so, we did.

Jesus came into this world to reconcile us into His body. He is the head of the church. He has ordained that Elders, spiritually mature Christians, should oversee and care for the Body. Jesus has called all believers in Him to His unity movement and to share that unity with all people. No matter what happens, we as Christ’s Body, need to keep our eyes on Jesus and keep marching to the beat of His drum, and keep praying for our country and those around us.

I am so thankful today that God is in control.

Dear Church Family,
Thank you for the beautiful Christmas crate filled with goodies and gift card.
Your love and support for us at Christmas and throughout the year blesses us to no end. We treasure the gift of this church family and this season of our journey with you on our road toward heaven.
Thank you for your kindness, and even more, thank you for serving with us in God's Kingdom. The best is yet to come.
Mike & Karen
Thank you church family for the gift box you gave us at Christmas time. There were so many items, all tasty and fun.
Leaders are nothing without followers who also contribute to the team. With God as our beacon, we advance into 2021and are encouraged by the blending of the old and new leadership. I am full of hope and excitement as we all pull together and welcome the new beginning that God has before us.
Thank you for trusting me to be one of your elders.
