Lewisville ISD Summer Intern Program
Could you use an extra set of hands this summer? Consider being part of the LISD Summer Internship Program!

As part of the program, you agree to the following:
  • Provide 15-20 hours of work per week for an LISD student (will be a graduating senior or upcoming senior)
  • Pay a minimum of $10/hour
  • Aim to provide 6-8 weeks of work this summer
  • Fill out this Google form with details, including the job description, by April 17th
  • Provide specifics on the interview process in the Google form
  • The dates/times of the internships will vary according to business needs and student availability - please discuss those details directly with the student

If you are looking for some extra help around your office, our students are fantastic! You don't have to believe me, though - check out this video to hear how a LISD high school student helped a local business.

United Way of Denton County To Pour $2.4M Into Denton County Community
The United Way of Denton County (UWDC) Board of Directors approved the organization’s 2019-2020 operating budget at their March meeting with over $2.4 million allocated to continuing the dual strategy of leading Collective Impact Initiatives and supporting Partner Agencies to serve vulnerable populations in a growing Denton County. 

“The investment from individuals and businesses drives the United Way engine creating transformative change in Denton County,” stated Lyle Dresher, out-going UWDC Board Chair. “But, the demand for philanthropic giving in this county has never been greater.”
Lewisville ISD Community Connections
Lewisville ISD values its partners in the business community and is excited to offer a unique opportunity for you to connect with our 350+ new staff members at the first-ever Community Connections event. Community Connections is  only available  to local chamber members and nonprofit organizations. LISD Back to School Fair
The LISD Back-to-School Fair serves more than 4,000 students in our community with school supplies, vision exams, sports physicals, and much more!

Every penny of your donation goes to helping students; making a powerful and direct impact. Your donation is also tax-deductible.

In addition to sponsorships, we will be taking backpack donations with two drop-off locations from May through June.
