Peak Season. Perfect Bite.

There are a few ingredients so good, they hardly need a recipe. This is one of them.

As the calendar turns to June, our produce department will overflow with the season's juiciest peaches–sun-ripened and impossibly fragrant. Pair them with our house-made mozzarella torn by hand for maximum creaminess, and you've got a dish that tastes like pure summer.

Peaches & Mozzarella

Here is how we do it in our family:


  • 2-3 ripe peaches, sliced (or halved for grilling)
  • 1 ball of fresh mozzarella, torn
  • a few leaves of fresh basil
  • generous drizzle of Giuseppe Giusti aged balsamic (I prefer the 10-year in yellow bottle)
  • a finishing pour of Galantino extra virgin olive oil (in a gorgeous ceramic bottle)
  • Maldon and cracked pepper to taste


Arrange on a plate. Don't overthink it. This is about letting the ingredient shine. Serve chilled or at room temp with a glass of something crisp. Everything you need is waiting for you at Grace's –just follow the scent of ripe peaches.

Optional twist for added pizzaz:

Grill your peach halves lightly. brushing with a touch of cognac or green chartreuse on high heat. It brings out the sweetness and adds a whisper of complexity –perfect for date nights or dinner parties.
