Dennis Herman is a NEXUS Affiliate Member and Branch Manager-Owner of American Mortgage Network. While navigating clients through the mortgage process, there are a few tips he's learned along the way:

Have a strong social media presence. You can connect with the client in large numbers and market your homes

Promote different programs available to the client. They have more than one way to qualify for a loan

Be inviting and courteous, the client has to feel at ease through this long process

2025 NAR Committee Applications

Are Now Open!

Help shape the direction of the National Association of REALTORS® and apply for a committee. Applications are accepted until Wednesday, May 15, 2024.

NEXUS members who receive a committee appointment may receive a stipend to help offset the cost of in-person attendance at meetings provided they request and are endorsed by the NEXUS President and the CEO during the application process.

To be endorsed, the NEXUS member must 1.) Request the endorsement (included in online application); 2.) Be in active status and good standing at the time of the request; 3.) Have made a minimum $100 RPAC investment for the current year; 4.) Have served on the Board of Directors or a committee at any level of the REALTOR® association, including affiliated organizations (WCR, RRC, etc.), for at least two years prior to the application year.

Revised Forms for New Flood Disclosure Law Now Available

The new flood risk notice landlords are required to provide tenants will be required starting March 20, sooner than initially anticipated.
