Visit the MarineParents.com Deployment Center
The goal of the Marine Parents Deployment Center is to provide you with the information and tools needed to better understand what will happen before, during, and after your Marine's deployment. In preparation for deployment, we strongly recommend that you read through the entire Deployment section of our web site. There is a lot to learn, but by reading and learning, you'll be empowered with knowledge and, thereby, be better prepared to support your Marine during the deployment, and just as important, be better prepared to take care of yourself.

Marines Writing a Will Prior to Deployment
Whether your Marine chooses to write a will or not is one hundred percent up to them. They’re adults now and must make these decisions on their own.

Their command will give them an opportunity to go to their local legal office on base and write their will. Their command can not force any Marine to write a will. That choice lies with the Marine.

The Internet and Social Media During Deployment
Internet access varies widely from location to location. As security and safety issues arise, availability may be restricted.

The following article contains information you may want to consider when communicating with your Marine through the internet.
