Dear colleague,
This past month has been an exciting one for us at Evoque! First and foremost, after a never-ending list of forms/paperwork and months of waiting, we finally received our Minority/Women-owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) certification! It took a looong time to complete, but we're confident it will pay dividends for our clients and our business.

Secondly, Evoque recently held its semi-annual business retreat up in the mountains of Colorado. The agenda included whitewater rafting, team building, and business strategy sessions. We've included some fun rafting photos for your entertainment. (Try not to laugh too hard at the ridiculously low water levels found late-July.)

Last but not least, now is the time to start planning your Colorado Gives Day fundraiser. This is a great way to raise funds to support your local efforts by simply tapping into the generosity of Colorado residents. What is MWBE Certification?
Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) Certification is issued by the City of Denver to eligible firms that meet the program's strict requirements. This certification enables Evoque to qualify for government contracts that must be awarded to MWBE firms. It also means we can begin subcontracting with larger firms that need MWBE partners to fill their contract quotas. So if you need an MWBE contractor or partner, you know where to find us! ;)

Established in 2010, Colorado Gives Day is an annual statewide fundraiser designed to increase philanthropy opportunities throughout the state. Using the coloradogives.org website, Colorado nonprofits can setup a fundraiser to generate donations for their selected cause. Enroll online by August 31, 2020 to participate in the December 8, 2020 Gives Day event.

Once you've setup your donation page, Evoque can help you create a fundraising campaign that will motivate Coloradans to donate to YOUR cause! Last year we helped our client Water Education Colorado generate $16,500 in funds - making it their most successful Gives Day campaign ever!
