The United States Transportation Security Administration (TSA) announced that enrollment and renewal costs for TSA PreCheck would be reduced.The TSA PreCheck current enrollment provider, IDEMIA, revealed that enrollment and in-person renewal fees would be reduced from $85 to $78. While the cost to renew online is still $70, enrollees get a five-year membership with the program if approved.

STEAM Into Native Cultures
Every Sunday in November between 11am - 3pm
No reservations necessary. Ages 4-8 will create a paper medicine wheel, and learn how this symbol was used by many Indigenous peoples to honor nature, seasons and life itself. Ages 9-15 will learn about the math incorporated in the Lakota Moon calendar and the cultural symbolism of turtles in many Native American cultures. Military History Tour

As the first U.S. military aviation field and the oldest continuously operating airport in the world, the College Park Airport has seen many important firsts of military aviation. Join us as we explore the history of aviation and its close connection to the military here at College Park. From army school to machine guns and rivalries to helicopters, this tour offers a bit of everything military related.

BOWIE, Md. – It was a beautiful day for golf on Tuesday as the Bowie State University Department of Athletics in conjunction with Institutional Advancement teamed up to host the 11th Annual Bulldog Golf Classic at the Country Club at Woodmore. More than 100 Bulldog supports came out for the event, raising over $25,000 to benefit the student-athletes at Bowie State University.

A new Trader Joe’s opened in Prince George’s County, Maryland, on Thursday, bringing new grocery options to a community that’s been asking for more fresh food. Twenty minutes before doors opened, the line to get inside the new store in College Park wrapped around the exterior of the 11,000-square-foot store. Once the tropical shirt-clad staff cut the red ribbon, shoppers cheered and streamed in.

This past weekend, the owners of Green Owl Design soft-launched their new lifestyle store, Nest Proper, which is right next door to their current location.
