MOST Conference

The Maryland Out of School Time (MOST) Network held its annual conference January 8th and 9th in Turf Valley, MD. The conference provided excellent networking opportunities and ample free resources for youth development practitioners.

The Excel Beyond the Bell Collaborative was well represented at the conference with 6 programs attending, special demonstrations by Sheila Crye of Young Chefs, Matt Barinholtz and Meg Lynch from FutureMakers, and a workshop on quality coaching led by Lynn Sobolov (Montgomery County Collaboration Council), Brodrick Clarke (Brodrick Clarke Consulting) and Jana Sharp (Sharp Insights).

For more information on the MOST conference as well as links to some of the free resources available click here. Also, be sure to check out what some of our providers thought about the conference in the quote section below.

QUOTES
:
"I felt that MOST was a great reminder of how amazing and exciting the people that work in the field of youth development really are!  It was a nice break from the day to day rut we all get stuck in, and was very re-energizing!"

-Richelle Barber

"This was the first time I have attended the MOST Conference. I found it to be a very worthwhile investment of two days - the conference was able to balance good content with ample time for networking. The "Un-Conference" session was a particularly useful and unique experience."
