Experience the Arts in Opulence was an evening of excellence, showcasing the exceptional talent of Las Vegas Academy students.
Our Gala opened with a silent auction offering our supporters a meaningful way to contribute via a wide range of unique items. During this portion of the evening guests experienced live Piano and Chamber Strings music while enjoying Artists completing their one-of-a-kind paintings, live. During dinner service, additional live music was performed by a Saxophone Quartet, Flute Quartet, and Senior Guitar Quartet. Entertainment throughout Opulence included the Jazz Band, Live Painters, Musical Theater previewing Anything Goes, Strings, Dance, Mariachi Internacional, and Contemporary Voices, as well as performances by LVA's own John Seaton and LVA alumni Christian Shelton and Breanna De Santos.
By the Numbers!
Over 100 Students from 12 different majors, representing all 4 conservatories - Dance, Theater, Visual & Media Arts, and Music - contributed to over 300 Opulence guests Experiencing the Arts!
| | |
Opulence raised over $90,000!
100% of this directly benefits LVA students and faculty including through the Master Artist Series, department needs, teacher/staff appreciation events, Development Office support, and more!

Of Special Note
Our live auction featured incredible items, including tickets to Sting with a pre-show Q & A, tickets to Keith Urban with a pre-show reception, and tickets to Usher with a Meet & Greet. However, the live auction item that raised the most funds was 'Commission a Composition' by LVA's very own Jorge Machain! He then generously doubled the opportunity by extending the offer to the two highest bidders. Thank you Mr. Machain!!!

Master Artist Series
Our 2022 Gala raised nearly $35,000 during 'The Big Ask', then Friends of LVA added over $15,000 to reach a total of $50,000; LVA's first ever Master Artist Series was curated bringing industry leaders to campus to work directly with students in every conservatory.
At Opulence, 'The Big Ask' was again for funds to bring a Master Artist Series to LVA for the 2023-2024 school year. While it was largely successful, we have not yet hit our bold goal of $75,000. We continue to accept donations for the Master Artist Series to expand this powerful program for LVA's students next year. Please join us and invite others to invest in LVA's students. Together we make the biggest impact!
