The College of Commissioner Science will provide the supplemental training to aid the commissioners in providing outstanding unit service.  It is recognized that commissioners are key to the continued health and growth of the units in the council.

Spring into Camping is an overnight camp experience at Cub World for Cub Scouts of all ages. Scouts will get to experience pieces of the Cub Scout Adventures! program, learn important camping skills, and have an exciting time at camp with their Pack.
Can't get enough of the Boom! Bang! and Twang! at the Ranges? Come shoot with us!  Cub Packs can use the BB and Archery ranges on weekends, and Troops and Crews can also use the Rifle and Shotgun ranges!   Click here to register
National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) is an exciting and powerful program designed to provide members of the Boy Scouts of America with leadership skills and experience they can use to lead themselves and others. Members of the community and local Scouters will gather in February at the largest local fundraiser for local Scout youth. It is the pinnacle of the Friends of Scouting Campaign where 1,000’s of local volunteers efforts help to raise dollars to support local youth Scouting programs. The Good Scout Award Luncheon will also honor the Jeff Wyler Automotive Group with the Good Scout Award for its community efforts in supporting local youth. Community Good Turn Postponed to 2017
Please note that the council-wide Good Turn scheduled for early April of this year has been postponed to 2017. Keep an eye out for more information coming in the next few months.
Diagnosis and care for injuries and illnesses occurring outside the 911 response envelope.  This weekend class prepares you to handle serious backcountry emergencies. Wilderness First Aid is a comprehensive series of lessons in how to react and respond in remote, life threatening situations. Lots of activity and hands-on work in classroom and outdoor scenarios keeps it fun!

Scouts will meet hundreds of thousands of other Scouts from around the country while participating in some of the most unique and exhilarating activities that Scouting has to offer. The National Jamboree truly is a once in a lifetime experience for a Scout, just listen to Matt Moniz, a Scout who will tell you all about it in this short video. One of the core values of The Boy Scouts of America is to do your best to help other people at all times. Heimlich Heroes™ is the perfect way to train your Cub Scouts and Webelos to recognize and respond to a choking emergency. It only takes an hour and is easily facilitated by your Scout Master and older Boy Scouts. In the past 8 months four kids trained through Heimlich Heroes have saved lives of friends or family members who were choking.
