Children & Teen News

Dancers in our semester and year-long classes are beginning to learn choreography for our annual spring concerts, which will be held on Saturday, June 13, at Westbrook Performing Arts Center. We are measuring dancers and preparing costume orders for this exciting event! Costume payments will be included in February's tuition installment for those who have not yet paid.

Dancers in our six-week sessions have been working with the concept of pathways: straight, curvy, and zig-zag, in January. Ask your dancer to show you a pathway dance at home. Can they travel through the pathways at different levels? In February, we will shift our focus to the concept of speed. Always a dancer favorite!

Registration for the next 7-week series, which runs from February 23 through April 11, opens today!

Our Young Dancers Program is a thoughtfully designed curriculum that offers developmentally appropriate, concept-based education, ensuring that young dancers build a robust foundation for all forms of dance. By integrating the principles of braindance, this program not only nurtures physical skills but also fosters cognitive development, creativity, and emotional expression. This holistic approach empowers young artists to explore their potential, igniting their passion for dance while equipping them with essential tools for lifelong learning and artistic growth. Through this program, we inspire the next generation of dancers to embrace their unique journey and cultivate a deep love for the art of movement!

Course fees: 30-minute class ($95), 45-minute class ($100), with no registration fee.
