A Review of Past Events

Excellent turnout this past Tuesday for the 30th Annual Global Business Alliance of New England Business Forum and Networking evening at Suffolk University - Sawyer Business School on Geopolitical Climate and Implications for International Business! Nick Rancis (National Grid Partners & Board Member Fraunhofer USA Inc.) and Mariano Nunez, CEO of Boston-based Onapsis, a strategic partner of SAP for cybersecurity, were two of the experts contributing to the panel discussion led by Douglas Banks, Executive Editor of the Boston Business Journal about global risks in 2024 for international businesses.


Urszula Wojciechowska, M.B.E., founder of Global Business Alliance of New England (GABC is a member) and the GBANE Forum, was honored for her long standing contributions by James Reginald Colimon, MBA (City of Boston) and Jeevan Ramapriya (MOITI Massachusetts Office of International Trade and Investment).

Young Professionals

The CAMBRIDGE Stammtisch continues to be extremely popular. A large crowd turned up at one of the recent gatherings at Lamplighter. The Stammtisch, while organized by the Young Professionals, is open to EVERYONE, regardless of membership or age. Reach out to Thorben Beckmann or Felix Kraus if you want to learn more. The GABC Mentorship Program which is run by the Young Professionals under the leadership of Nadine Klabunde and Susanna Bächle, had a "half way" in person check-in meeting recently.


The current cohort consists of eight mentor/mentee pairs that were matched by the program. They meet virtually since the fall of 2023. The program ends this spring.
