Not long after Chris and I got into all this metaphysical "stuff" many years ago, we asked our guides and angels to please help us know we are on the right path by giving us a sign. The sign we came up with and asked to be shown was a blue Ford Mustang. Any color blue. Any time we need validation or confirmation, we have asked our guides to please show us a blue Mustang.
It is really uncanny how the blue Mustang will show up whenever we have a doubt or a question or need validation of any kind. Always it is there, the blue Mustang.
When we decided to jump into opening our own metaphysical store and center, we were nervous, of course. Especially since it was 2008 and the bottom had fallen out of the economy. When friends, family and clients asked us over and over again if we were sure this was something we should be doing, we still decided we were going for it. Like Chris said, "It is time!"
Even though we'd made up our minds, it doesn't mean we didn't wonder now and then if we were truly listening to our hearts and our angels. Just like humans tend to do, we had our days of indecision and doubt. And during that time of shaky knees and butterflies in the stomach, I asked our guides to please confirm what we were doing was the right thing. I asked them if taking this leap of faith was what we needed to do to move forward with our dream in opening a center.
Not long after that request, I was thumbing through a shipment of new and used books we'd ordered to put on our shelves. A piece of paper fell out of one of the used books. I bent down to the floor to pick up the paper and it was a good thing I was close to the ground because my jaw hit the floor! On the small 3" x 2" piece of paper was a pencil drawing. A horse in full gallop. Above the horse was the word
F O R D. Below the horse was M U S T A N G.
Okaaay! Well that was a fantastic confirmation that we were on the right track. Gotta love those angels and guides! They know when we need confirmation that shows without a doubt or twinge of maybe.
Since that time, there have been many instances of blue Mustangs showing up exactly when we needed assurance from our guides. They always come through. and once again, we've been given a very clear sign...
For a few months now we've known we were ready to make a move from our old building. It's served its purpose and has been our home of good energy and blessing for over four years. Can you believe it's been that long?! But to this day, we still have so many customers who find us for the first time and ask how long we have been here. And they comment they didn't know we were "back here." We are not located on one of the two busiest streets in Old Town Spring and we've missed the opportunity of those who walk around town spending the day doing some fun shopping and finding us. They just don't know we are "back here."
When we decided we were really going to try and take a leap of faith and move to a more busy street, the butterflies and shaky knees came back in full force again. Are we doing the right thing? Can we make it work? All the thoughts running through your head as you contemplate a huge move, physically and mentally.
A few weeks ago, I was up early in the morning drinking my coffee and Chris joined me. He said he'd been up at 4 am earlier and couldn't sleep. All the same thoughts going around in his own head. He said he'd asked his guides to show him a sign that this move was the right thing for us. Please show me a sign! After that, he went back to bed and fell asleep. He had a very strange dream about the place we were located at but no real answer about the question if we should make the move.
Later that morning, we both decided it was time to jump, time to take that leap of faith. We decided we really did want to make the move.
That afternoon, we had some errands to run and we needed to drop off a few supplies to the center. And as always, when we left the center, we drove over to the potential new location - the Whitehall House. As we pulled up, once again you could hear the snap of jaws hitting the floor. Chris and I looked at each other in amazement. And then we gave each other a high five.
Right there in the first parking spot was.... yep... you guessed it! A blue Mustang. And not any old blue Mustang, nope... a nice, bright shiny brand new gorgeous blue Mustang. Didn't even have it's permanent plates yet.
BAM! Yes sir. Got it. No doubt about it. The shaky knees went away. The butterflies in the stomach settled.

So here we are! In our new place - the Whitehall House. I'll be updating you each month about the happenings of this historic and happily haunted beautiful house! My first update you'll find below. You won't believe the pics from a wonderful lady who went over to the house when she found out we were moving there!!
