We hope you had a wonderful summer!
It is with a mix of excitement and sadness that Elaine and I are writing to let you know that we will both be retiring from LSF, effective Sept 1, 2025.
After 30 wonderful years, this decision comes with a full heart and a sense of pride. It’s not easy to say goodbye to a place that has been so much more than just a workplace - it has been a home, a community, and a huge part of our lives. While it is difficult to step away, we are also looking forward to the next chapter: spending more time with family and embracing new adventures.
We are very excited that Jenn Stevens and Samantha Gawron will be taking over as President & CEO and Chief Strategy and Operations Officer, respectively. Jenn and Sam have been a driving force behind LSF’s impacts and outreach over the last decade, successfully leading the delivery of LSF’s research and programs and we know that LSF will continue to be in good hands after we leave.
It has been an honour and privilege to lead LSF’s work in inspiring change. It could not have happened without our passionate board, amazing staff and talented consulting team. Together, we have planted seeds of awareness and action in our youth that will grow far beyond us. Thank you for sharing this journey with us, for the wonderful memories, and most of all for helping “empower our children to change the world”.
We hope our paths will cross again!!
