Meet our Wyoming OSHA Instructors
Mr. Michael Malone

Michael Malone has worked in many different fields and taught at a local community college for the last 8 years. He has taught classes in OSHA 10- and 30-hour General Industry safety, Construction. Fall Protection, Confined Space, Excavations, Utility Locator, Process Technology, Quality Control, Renewable Resources and Fire Safety, CDL, Ariel Platforms, Front End Loader, and Forklift training. Prior to becoming an instructor, Michael served 4 years in the U.S. Navy as an aviation electrician and spent time in the Persian Gulf on the flight deck of an aircraft carrier during the Gulf War. After serving in the Navy, he attended school at the University of Wyoming and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Michael then went to work on commercial wind turbines in the Casper area where he became a Lead Wind Technician. Michael is extremely passionate about teaching and has a firm belief that establishing a safety conscious workforce will increase production, quality and morale. 

Mr. Eli Chavez

Eli Chavez has been in high-risk management since the 90's and has implemented mitigation strategies for everyone from military operations and c-suite executives. He has 20+ years in leadership roles for the U.S. Marine Corps and the construction industry along with 20+ years as an OSHA Outreach trainer in both construction and general industry.  Eli offers a comprehensive, strategic approach to ensuring complex organizational safety through design and delivery of targeted programs to achieve goals for worker and public safety, compliance, and profitability. Eli is experienced in OSHA regulations, risk assessments, and hazard recognition in high-risk construction, general industry, military, and federal government environments. Eli is an accomplished public speaker and has addressed groups of up to 400. He is valued for initiative, judicious decision-making, and ability to deliver results with ethics and integrity.
