ANNOUNCEMENT

We’re excited to announce the launch of the new National Center on Improving Literacy (NCIL) website!

Visit us at improvingliteracy.org to explore a refreshed, easier-to-navigate platform filled with trusted, evidence-based resources for families, educators, and state education agencies.

Here’s what’s new:

  • Improved Navigation: Our resources and decision-support tools are now much easier to access. Look for them in the navigation bar at the top of every page of the website.

  • Easier-to-Read Information: We've updated the designs of most of our resources to be more accessible, visually compelling, and mobile-friendly. We're still transferring some materials from our previous site, so stay tuned — there’s much more to come.

  • Expanded About Us Section: We've refreshed our About Us page with updated information on the progress and impact we've made on improving literacy outcomes.

Thank you for being part of our community — and for your support and patience as we launch this exciting new chapter. Together, we’re building a future where every child has the opportunity to become a confident, skilled reader.
