Hon. Catherine 'Katie' Curran O'Malley Selected as Executive Director

We are delighted to share the selection of Honorable Catherine 'Katie' Curran O'Malley as the next Executive Director of the Women's Law Center of Maryland!

Katie brings an impressive background with over thirty years of court room experience, serving as Baltimore County prosecutor and two decades as a Baltimore City District Court Judge. Her leadership in addressing domestic violence and enhancing the safety of victims through the court system has made her a state and national authority in the field.

Throughout her extensive career, Katie's dedication to serving Maryland communities has been unwavering. From presiding over protective order cases to running for Attorney General, Katie has been a staunch advocate for violence prevention, family law, and women's rights. Her commitment aligns seamlessly with our mission: protecting the physical safety, economic security, and bodily autonomy of women in Maryland.
