Dear TBC Family,
We have some very exciting news to share. The JCC of Stamford’s Board has agreed to begin negotiating with TBC to create a shared Jewish experience in our building. The details and terms of how that will work will be negotiated over the coming months.
What Does This Mean for TBC?
In short, this relationship will secure TBC’s future in our building. We will be part of an organization with 1900 member families and a staff of 250. It will provide our members with the opportunity to participate in spiritual, ritual and religious activities (Shabbat services, High Holiday services, life cycle events, religious school, etc.) just as we do now, or new JCC led community events and programs (teen programs, adult programs, group trips, etc.) or both. And, in time, we will have a pre-school in our building.
We Want and Need Your Input
As we begin the transition process, your input is crucial! There is a lot to be negotiated and we want the final outcome to reflect what is most important to our TBC families. We have scheduled several meetings over the next few weeks. PLEASE attend one of these meetings to share your thoughts, any concerns you may have and ask questions. We ask that you register for the meeting you plan to attend.

The meetings will be in person at TBC with a Zoom option.
