Volunteer Spotlight
In honor of Volunteer Appreciation month we wanted to say THANK YOU to all our amazing volunteers! Thank you for everyone who was able to join us as we rolled out the red carpet in honor of You! Our volunteers are a vital piece in empowering our families to attain self-sufficiency. Research shows that people who volunteer are living happier and healthier lives. They have lower rates of cancer, heart disease, depression, and have lower healthcare costs.

Family Safety Day 2016
National Financial Literacy Month is recognized in April as an effort to highlight the importance of  financial literacy and teach Americans how to establish and maintain healthy financial habits. Financial Literacy Month is an opportunity for financial corporations, nonprofits, and government agencies to promote educational initiatives and resources. Family Pathfinders participated in the Fort Worth Family Safety Day, at La Gran Plaza to promote financial coaching. A special thanks to two of our volunteer financial coaches, Sarah Clayton and Paul Baccus, who helped make the event a huge success!

Clients Lar Seng Lasham, & Maran Roi
Family Pathfinders had the opportunity to work with the Lasham Family through our Financial Capability program, offering them a series of financial coaching sessions at Habitat for Humanity. We are excited to share the Lasham family now has a home of their own, thanks not only their continued hard work, but also to Trinity Habitat for Humanity.
