We are so excited to announce a new partnership with Tyler ISD and Young Audiences for an Arts After School program, which will kick off October 1st at Bonner Elementary!

This program is funded in part by a generous grant from the Texas Women for the Arts .

Arts after School will provide arts and academic enrichment programs for students after school, Monday through Thursday at Bonner Elementary, where 96% of students are considered socio-economically disadvantaged.

Young Audiences is currently hiring teaching artists and small group leaders. Do you know someone who would be a good fit? Send us their name or send them ours! For more information contact Maureen at
Dance Program now at
Winona Middle School!
13 years ago, a Met Life “Dance for Life” grant initially funded a yearlong dance residency at Dogan Middle School. The program is currently at Hogg and Moore Middle Schools in Tyler ISD. When an assistant principal from Moore Middle School moved to Winona High School, he recognized the value of the program and in 2017 asked Young Audiences to start the first ever dance program at Winona High School. And now the program has extended into Winona Middle School!
Through the years this program has served over 1000 girls in Northeast Texas.
Professional Development
An important component to our work is making sure the Northeast Texas teachers are equipped with a tool box full of the arts! Young Audiences along with Focus 5, an Arts Integration Consulting Firm, was able to bring "Acting Right", a classroom management strategy to the teachers at Caldwell Arts Academy and Higgins Elementary in Whitehouse.

Young Audiences!
It's a brand new year for us, and we are determined to make it the best ever! In order for us to bring more arts to more schools we need the help of our donors! Please consider a gift today. No matter how big or how small - every little bit helps. The students of Northeast Texas deserve an arts rich education.
