Which is exactly what we did! Filming on location in a charming local bookshop, a stunning riverside mansion in Upper Nyack, and in the magically transformed Studio 5, we went about the business of creating a whole new Nutcracker.
Today we are proud to announce the streaming release of our one-of-a-kind film, featuring 137 student dancers and professional alumni, who were supported by a crew of over 100 parent and community volunteers, under the artful guidance of Artistic Director Diane Coupé Frankel, Associate Artistic Director Alison Frankel, Director Marta Renzi and Cinematographer Lucas Ruderman, all of whom hail from Rockland County.
