Join us for Rhode Island African Restaurant Week

Starting today, June 1st through June 7th, we invite you celebrate the RI Summer of Soccer and discover new African-owned restaurants and explore culinary traditions from across the continent. Support Rhode Island restaurants and indulge in the rich flavors and vibrant culture of Africa while celebrating this exciting global event!

PVD Fan Zone at Station Park

The City of Providence will be hosting the PVD Fan Zone at Station Park during the FIFA World Cup matches in June and July. This event will feature live match broadcasts, family activities, local food trucks, soccer activations, and more — all free and open to the public. It's a fantastic opportunity for vendors to showcase their offerings to a large crowd.

How to Participate:

Complete the Marketplace Vendor Interest Form
Vendors are responsible for bringing their own pop-up tent (white, no branding), chairs, and tables.
The rate is $200 per event date, with each event lasting approximately 9+ hours.
Once accepted, you will receive a schedule and be able to select your preferred dates.
A Certificate of Insurance (COI) meeting State & City requirements will be required upon acceptance. Slots are limited, so apply early!

June 20: Ghana Take Over Day at PVD Fan Zone — Submit your application through the vendor form.

RI Small Business Shopping Village

SkillsRI is launching the RI Small Business Shopping Village at Providence Place Mall — a curated retail marketplace designed to help small businesses increase visibility, connect with new customers, and grow sales during one of the biggest global events of the decade.

📍 Location: Providence Place Mall
📅 Duration: June – August 2026

This is your chance to showcase your products in a prime location connected to PVD Fan Zone activity at Station Park. Vendors will have access to:

Curated retail spaces starting at $400 a month
Boutique-style artisan galleries
Mall kiosks and interactive activation opportunities
On-site operational support

Vendors only need to be present 1 day a week for at least 8 hours — making it a flexible way to get your business in front of thousands of visitors.
