Kids' school year has concluded, summer school schedules have started for many parents, and there is great progress happening at the ADC Family Campus!

ALL the portables have been placed on their foundation piers and the homes are under renovation.
All the windows are installed and more buildings have been stuccoed.
The family center's second floor is being built out.
Flooring is being laid in the main offices.
The donation center has a garage door!

We are excited to share the progress with you and thank all the supporters of our expansion!

Presenting Research and Data

Last month, UNM Evaluation Lab and Saranam presented at the NM Public Health Association Conference. During a virtual learning session, the teams presented results of a study entitled “Cohort Design: A Two Year Mixed Methods Evaluation of Program Efficacy & Replicability".

In our fifth year partnering with the UNM Evaluation Lab, we began our 2-year mixed methods (qualitative and quantitative) cohort study. The goal of the study is to demonstrate the effectiveness of our program and to identify key factors that support successful replication in new communities.

Engaging alumni focus groups within a community-based participatory research approach, we identified themes across the families and the program that emerge before, during, and after their stay, all of which contribute to equipping the families to achieve stability.

Welcoming Welcome Kits

Did you know it takes approximately $285 of paper goods, toiletries, and cleaning supplies to stock one apartment for an incoming family? Luckily, we have wonderful volunteers and donors that help by committing to purchase smaller chunks of supplies, which we call Welcome Kits.

This is a GREAT starting point for anyone wanting to get involved in the work we do here at Saranam.

Here are links with more details on the kit contents and a chance to sign up yourself or your group. Supplies do not need to be delivered until June 18.
