Dear Families:
As we conclude the second day of school and the first week, I wanted to send a note of appreciation to all of our families. As students arrived yesterday and today, you were able to see their excitement and enthusiasm for being back at school. The building was filled with their energy. We still have a third of our kindergarten class to welcome in on Monday and we can't wait to see them! It is a great privilege for our staff to work with your child, and we thank you for your trust in doing so. We hope everyone is able to get rest this weekend, and we will see our students back on Monday.
A Few Notes about Routines:
- On Friday's, your child will typically have a folder that includes special fliers for our families or communication directly from your child's teacher. The fliers may include information pertaining to KCE, PTO events, and other special announcements.
- Remember to send a note in for your child if their dismissal routine is going to change. Overcommunicating changes can be helpful.

If you haven't already, please sign up and be ready for buses to roll with the Stopfinder App. Stopfinder enables parents and guardians to accurately track their children’s school buses in real-time. The user-friendly app is secured, ensuring that only authorized users can access school bus information. It functions as a two-way communication tool, providing parents with a convenient way to receive notifications instantly, and can be customized to your alert preferences. - Remember that if your child needs to have medicine administered at school, a medical form is required and a doctor must sign it. The form is found on the Kenston Local School Website under district forms.
- Labeling your child's jacket, hoodie, or water bottle helps us return it to your child if it finds its way to Lost and Found.
- If your child is absent, you must call our office to report the absence by 9:00 AM. The attendance line is 440-543-2822
