Tune in the hear your favorite pop songs performed by those with disabilities, including a special appearance from NADS Self-Advocate Jacob Spenadel!

This amazing program focuses on giving those with disabilities a chance to take on leadership roles and to artistically impact individuals of all ages with special needs through the teaching of musical theater. Founded by high school senior Jordyn Brandman, Performing heARTS continually hosts fundraisers in which 100% of proceeds go to other non-profits.

Chappaqua boy with Down syndrome uses 'Super Brady powers' to advocate for inclusion

A Chappaqua boy with Down syndrome is using his "powers" to advocate for inclusion. Brady McCarthy is a superhero by bringing awareness to the importance of inclusion with his book and a movie. The McCarthys moved to Chappaqua in 2010 when Brady was in third grade in the hopes of a more inclusive learning environment.

Coffee chain employing adults with disabilities opens first location in Houston. Inspiration came from founders children

Bitty & Beau's Coffee, a coffee chain that focuses on employing adults with disabilities, has opened its first location in Houston. The business was started in 2016 by Amy and Ben Wright in NC. The Wrights have four children - one of them was born with autism, and two of their children, Bitty & Beau, whom their business is named after, were born with Down syndrome.
