Happy New Year! We’re thrilled to kick off 2025 in our new home, The Hefner Center. As we reflect on 130 years of service to northeast Indiana, we’re inspired by how far we’ve come and excited about what lies ahead. This year, we’re embracing the theme “Reflecting Back to Move Forward” as we continue to evolve to meet our community’s needs.

In the spirit of growth, we’re making improvements to our monthly newsletter. This month’s issue is a bit shorter, but starting in February, you’ll enjoy a fresh new format designed to keep you informed at a glance. Look for the updated newsletter in your inbox on the 1st of each month, designed to keep you updated on YWCA’s latest highlights and happenings.

In this month’s newsletter, you will find:

  • Details surrounding upcoming events
  • A variety of ways for you to get involved and support the work we are doing right here in northeast Indiana

Women's Climb

We are excited to once again partner with Summit City Climbing Co. for a women's climb event on January 25th from 6-8pm!

This empowering event is designed to create a supportive and encouraging environment where women of all climbing levels can connect, learn, and challenge themselves. Whether you're new to climbing or a seasoned pro, this session offers a unique chance to build confidence, meet fellow climbers, and enjoy the gym in a space dedicated just for women. Come climb, laugh, and grow with us!

Coffee & Conversations

Due to popular demand, we are excited to bring back Coffee & Conversations in 2025! This is an opportunity for women in the community to discuss pertinent topics about how to be successful in the business sphere, public square, or in personal growth and development.

We invite women to come network and engage in conversation for this free quarterly series. Our first event of the year will focus on balancing work and motherhood. Join us on Tuesday, March 18th from 8:15-9:30am at Ash Brokerage.
