Greetings!
Greetings from Atlanta!
March has been a busy month — more on the personal side than the professional, but filled with meaningful moments.
We started by celebrating my husband’s birthday, followed by a trip to Chicago to visit my daughter and help her find a new apartment off Campus (a work in progress) Being right in the heart of downtown, we couldn’t resist enjoying a culinary experience — this time, delicious Spanish tapas. We also spent a lovely afternoon at the Chicago Botanic Garden, where we enjoyed a beautiful orchid exhibition.
And of course, since work is never too far from my mind, I was delighted to come across a plaque from one of my valued clients, Laughlin Constable, while walking along Michigan Ave.
On top of that, I had a very special visit from my former French roommate and her daughters, who traveled all the way from Paris for a Florida getaway. The last time we were all together — with our kids — was about 10 years ago in Paris, during a family tour thorough Europe. Such a full-circle moment.
On the professional front, I’ve been busy with non-broadcast recordings and creative translations, and this week I’m attending one of the largest voiceover conferences here in Atlanta. I’m looking forward to sharing highlights and insights from the event in my next newsletter.
If you enjoy animal stories and missed my previous edition, you can catch it here.
And if you’re new — welcome! Be sure to check the Welcome section… your name might be there.
Below you’ll find a few photos and videos from these moments.
Thank you for reading, watching, and being part of my journey.
See you next month!
Warmly,
Nydia
